Who Am I?

The purpose of life is to go beyond it. We are all borne and we are all going to die one fine day. What would remain are our physical possessions, our memories in the mind of the people who lived us, and our legacy for the people who lived us. 

The physical possessions don’t matter, really. They have a very short half-life and lose their value rapidly. Sometimes it also becomes a liability for the people who are left to manage it after you depart. 

But your memories and legacy remain for a much longer time. Because they were the essence of the life that you lived. They had the imprint of your character and value system. They presented some important takeaways for the people who mattered to you. 

My essays on the essence of life are an attempt to create a value system and build a small legacy for those who love me. The Essayence is an effort to systematically and safely preserve it so that if nothing else, I will be able to go through that at some point in time in the future and assess whether I myself could successfully derive the lessons of life myself. 

I find this review very interesting and recommend that all of us right-minded people should start doing it at a particular time of our life. Earlier the better. But not bad even if you do as late as I am attempting. I believe that it would provide you the much-required calmness and serenity of the mind in the age when it is wanted most. 

Like mine, each of you also has your own essays to write and rejoice. Finally, our basic human software is somewhere fully identical. Only that some of us are able to express it and some of us cannot. But that doesn’t make anyone of us better than each other. I believe that each one of us is equally divine inside, manifested differently outside.

That is the essence of the Essayence.
